  • Two to three years of industry experience

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with organic functional materials.

Other Available Positions

  • Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist, Materials Processing & Device Fabrication
Job responsibilities include the evaluatation and optimization of organic semiconductor and/or dielectric materials for OTFT or OPV applications, the development of organic materials formulations for different printing techniques (inkjet, gravure, etc.), and the support of the development and commercialization of materials platforms for OTFT and OPV applications. Required educational background is a Ph.D. in Materials science and engineering, Chemistry, Electric Engineering, or any field related to organic electronics (OTFTs or OPVs). Hands-on experience in the field of organic electronics is preferred.
  • Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist, Inorganic/Solid State Chemist
Job responsibilities include carrying out metal oxide precursor synthesis as well as metal oxide thin film growth from solution.  The position requires a PhD in Chemistry (inorganic/solid state) and possibly previous laboratory experience with metal oxide film growth is a plus. No prior experience with electronic materials is required.
  • Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist, Organic/Polymer Chemist
Job responsibilities include carrying out the design and synthesis of semiconducting polymer, as well as related organic electronic materials. The position requires a PhD in Chemistry (organic/polymer) and previous laboratory experience with conducting polymer synthesis is necessary. Prior experience with electronic materials for OTFT or OPV is preferable.
  • Research Assistant, Materials Processing & Device Fabrication
Job responsibilities include supporting scientists in the fabrication and characterization of organic electronic devices. Routine lab work may include dissolving/preparing polymer solutions, fabricating polymer thin films by spin-coating, depositing metal electrodes using thermal evaporator, and testing film thickness and electric characteristics. The postion requires a bachelor or master degree in materials science and engineering, chemistry, physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related fields.
